Vasco Rossi, the concert of records

The Modena Park concert is the event of the summer: more than 220 fans attended the only date of the 65-year-old artist, who made his debut with 'Colpa d'Alfredo' (which contains the verse about Modena Park) and then sung for three hours with forty of the songs of his forty-year career.

Vasco Rossi, the concert of records

The history of music has made a stop in Modena. At Modena Park, where Vasco Rossi celebrated 40 years of love with the stage, with the audience, with the emotions. In front of a human tide of over 220 people, who thus made it the concert of records, the one with the most paying spectators in the world. No one ever like him. Modena. Because it all started here. With the first singing competition won at the age of 10, with the very first concert, which he doesn't even remember anymore.

And so we start again from here, to close a circle, to take stock of a unique career, but also to move forward, because the Komandante has already said it several times to his gang: he really doesn't think about stopping. Forty songs for forty years. A three and a half hour gallop, majestic and imposing. Like the 130m wide stage. AND like the 1500 square meters of moving screens that allow even the furthest away to enjoy a show which focuses more on Vasco than on special effects, on his songs, on a story to be celebrated not only as an artist's success, but also as a collective ritual.

There was no shortage of controversy either: the event was in fact broadcast live by Raiuno, conducted by Paolo Bonolis, fiercely contested on social media for having left little space for live performances and too much - according to Vasco Rossi's fans - for anecdotes and comments. But then there is also the time, before Gli Spari sopra, to invite the public not to be afraid, not to give in to terrorism: “This is a concert against fear. We don't have to be afraid."
