Valtur passes to the Apulian group Nicolaus

The sale will be finalized in the next 20 days – The Brindisi group beat the competition from Bluserena and Alpitur. There are several rumors about the value of the acquisition

Valtur passes to the Apulian group Nicolaus

The Valtur brand passes to the Nicolaus group. The Apulian tourist company controlled by Giuseppe and Roberto Pagliara has purchased Valtur, surpassing the offers presented by Bluserena and Alpitour.

The sale was carried out as part of the liquidation procedure of the group, in agreement since last March. In detail, the tender for the acquisition of the brand was organized by the judicial commissioner who is managing the bankruptcy of the Milanese company already controlled by Investindustrial.

It should be emphasized that just in March, Valtur had announced «the opening of the collective dismissal procedure for the 108 permanent employees and the 123 on fixed-term contracts».

The group from Brindisi – the main office is in Ostuni, recently joined the Elite group of the Italian Stock Exchange and in the road that led to the acquisition of Valtur it beat the competition from companies such as bluserena and Alpitur. Nicolaus, explains a note, "was awarded the tender over the other offers, with an advantage exceeding the 500 euros envisaged in the tender, avoiding the possibility of a relaunch by the other competitors".

There is still no certain news on the price of the operation: according to some rumors, Nicolaus would have put 5,2 million euros on the plate, other rumors instead refer to a figure slightly higher than 3 million euros.
