Valentino signs a new agreement with the unions: the performance bonus and welfare improve

La Valentino house has signed with i unions a deal for the three-year period 2023-2025 with which the result award and welfare in support of parenthood for all workers on Italian sites in the fashion area.
The agreement, signed with Filctem, Femca and Uiltec, marks "an important economic advance that manages to capture the growth of the group and all the advantages, if the objectives of facilitated taxation are achieved" explains a unitary note from the unions.
“Valentino is confirmed, after last year's regulatory agreement, as one of the fashion houses with one very advanced bargaining. With today's agreement, attention to the needs of male and female workers is not only consolidated, but a significant response is given on the salary plan effectively curbing the effects of the dear life": they said Sonia Tosoni, national secretary of Filctem CGIL, e Giuliano Ezzelini Storti, Filctem Cgil national coordinator for the Valentino group.

The new three chords that add to the previous ones

This is an additional agreement with respect to the previously signed regulatory and economic agreements which, among other things, also improves the welfare of the maison through three more chords. Here they are.
For 2023, in fact, the company will recognize the first month of parental leave voluntary, both paternity and maternity leave, at 100% of the reference salary, instead of the legal 80%. The second month, however, will be paid at 80% instead of 30%.
Furthermore, with the second agreement, the usability of 16 pm is extended leave hours for medical visits, in addition to the leave determined in the national employment contract, considering not only the visit time, but also the round trip to work.
Finally, with the third, aadditional allowance of 60 euros gross for each day of travel that requires an overnight stay, for fashion or look book events.

“This agreement demonstrates how Group agreements can bring great benefits to the issue of modernizing national sector bargaining. Topics such as personal care, management of the family without gender difference, remuneration also linked to a type of work in constant change and displacement, are the elements contained in this new agreement, and look to the future of a central sector for the economy of the country and driving force for all made in Italy”: they concluded Tosoni and Ezzelini.
