The agreement, in particular, strengthens the industrial relations system, through the establishment of a high-representation committee, which will be entrusted with the competences on matters of national importance and a national trade union coordination which will be competent for all the matters delegated to the second level contract which will also have national significance. In the coming weeks it will be presented to the workers, in the assemblies, and, after the vote, it will enter into force in January 2023.

Maison Valentino: the result bonus and welfare

From September, the parties will start dialogue for the recognition of the result award which will affect all sites. In addition, it is improvedweekend allowance, revised the Good meal (which will become 7 euros) for everyone, including those who work remotely, while it will become 60 euros pertravel allowance for fashion shows. Furthermore, the payment of hours worked under a flexible regime is increased to 40% against the 15% envisaged by the national employment contract. There fourteenth month it will be extended to all workers, the possibility of requesting advances on severance indemnities will be extended and supplementary pensions will be improved: in fact, the amount payable by the company will rise by 0,5%.

Increased leave and hourly flexibility

The maison has opened up the possibility of accepting part-time requests beyond the limit of the national collective labor agreement and has increased the annual hours on leave, maternity, diseasecompared to the provisions of the national contract. For the specialistic examinations workers will have 16 paid hours available per year, mainly for theschool placement of children, 8 hours are provided for each child. The parental leave, at the end of compulsory maternity leave, it is supplemented by 70%, up to 100% coverage of wages for the first month of optional maternity leave. For the unions, this is an important result from an economic point of view but also from an industrial relations point of view, which they hope will lead the way for other agreements in the sector.
