Vaccines, EU accuses no vax: "Moral responsible for the death of several children"

“No vax movements bear moral responsibility for the deaths of several children”.

This is the harsh accusation that the European Commissioner for Health, Vytenis Andriukaitis launches against no-vax, presenting the Brussels report on the state of health in the Union.

The commissioner added that: "Families who follow the recommendations of the no-vax movements are forced to bury their children", advising them to "go around the European cemeteries, where there are still graves of people who died at the beginning of the 19th century because there were no vaccines”

These movements, Andriukaitis ruled, "bring us back decades, to the years of obscurantism, to the Stone Age".

Finally, the EU official appealed to Governments to protect "Children's right to life", through compulsory vaccination: "Children cannot choose, we can".

Andriukaitis also referred to Italy, underlining how in our country "the reduction of vaccinations led to a worrying epidemic of measles cases in 2016 and 2017".
