Utility on the rise: Enel X makes its debut in India, Hera attracts talent

Il Italian utility sector recovers on the Stock Exchange, despite the difficult day for the stock markets, thanks to the positive trend drawn by the Utilities index of the Eurozone.

Il FTSE Italy Utilities opened at 39.599,5, an increase of 407,7 points over the previous close. Meanwhile, the EURO STOXX Utilities index continues to rise to 361, after starting the session at 357.

Among the titles of FTSE MIB, appreciable upside for Enel, up 1,38%. The group led by Francesco Starace announced, with a press release, the debut in e-mobility in India. The subsidiary Enel X has set up a joint venture with Sterling and Wilson Pvt, a company of the Shapoorji Pallonji group, Indian leader in Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC). The understanding will start in April 2021 and will combine Enel X's technological know-how with SWPL's design experience. The joint venture aims to accelerate the spread of electric vehicles and promote the adoption of the electric charging infrastructure, in the public and private sectors, distributing and marketing Enel X charging solutions, such as JuiceBoxes and JuicePumps.

 A few weeks after the Top Employer certification, obtained by the Hera Group for the 12th consecutive year, and for the second as premiere in Italy, the multi-utility is once again confirmed as one of the companies with the greatest ability to attract talent. This was decreed by the 2021 Italian edition of the Online Talent Communication study, carried out by the Swedish research company potential park, which every year draws up the ranking of companies which, through online communication, are more attractive to job seekers. 

 In the 2021 edition of Potentialpark Hera took second place overall in Italy, further improving its position in the general classification. Furthermore, the multi-utility obtained first place in the "Career Website" category, thanks to the continuous improvements made to the "Work with us" section of the company website and maintained second place in the Mobile category, due to the ease with which candidates can apply using a mobile phone/smartphone.
