Usa, Trump fires the Minister of Justice

Donald Trump has fired acting Attorney General Sally Yates, who ordered the Department not to defend the president's immigration decree in court. Yates "betrayed the Justice Department by refusing to implement an order designed to defend American citizens," the White House says.

In his place, Trump appointed Dana Boente, attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, who will remain in office until Jeff Sessions, appointed by Trump as secretary of justice, is confirmed by the Senate.

Meanwhile, the protest against Trump's decision to ban entry into the US from seven Muslim-majority countries is spreading throughout the world and in the United States, from New York right up to the White House. The UN accuses: it is an illegal and petty act. While a poll shows that 51% of Americans disapprove of the new president's work.

"It is not a ban on Muslims, as the media falsely report", the tycoon attempted to throw water on the fire, who called his predecessor into question: "It is similar to what President Obama did in 2011 when he banned visas for refugees from Iraq for six months”.

Theresa May and Vladimir Putin are preparing their respective meetings with Trump. The EU, on the other hand, replies: “We do not discriminate”.

The Washington State Attorney General has announced plans to launch a lawsuit against US President Donald Trump over the executive order suspending entry to the US for immigrants from seven Muslim-majority countries. Attorney General Bob Ferguson is the first to announce such a lawsuit. Ferguson is among 16 attorneys general who signed a statement calling the measure "un-American and illegal."
