To drive the increase in demand were orders for civil aircraft, which shot up by as much as 73% – Last month incomes also recorded a slight increase, which however grew less than estimates (+0,1%).

Another surprise from the US macroeconomic data. The Washington Department of Commerce reports that in November the durable goods orders they rose by 3,8%, while economists had expected a more contained increase, by 3%. Driving the increase in demand were orders for civil aircraft, which shot up by as much as 73%.

Transportation-related orders rose 14,7%. Thanks to these increases, total orders have reached 206,9 billion dollars. This does not mean that there have been declines in other sectors, for example in the computer sector.

Furthermore, without considering transport, orders rose by only 0,3%. The uptick recorded in November follows the flat trend in October and the sharp decline in September.

Last month they recorded a slight increase also the incomes, however, grew less than estimates (+0,1%, equal to 13,1 billion dollars), after the increase of 0,4% the previous month. Analysts were expecting a rise of 0,2%.
