Sudden boom in the US real estate market: house prices in the twenty largest American cities, as measured by the Case-Shiller index, have in fact increased in the 12 months ending in February by as much as 9,3%. This is the largest increase for almost seven years: it was in fact since May 2006 that a leap so high was not recorded. The increase was even higher than analysts' expectations.
