Not only Italy and the Eurozone: positive news also comes from the US manufacturing sector. According to Markit, the manufacturing PMI rose to 55 points in December from 54,7 the previous month. This is the highest reading for 11 months now. As always we indicate readings above 50 indicate an expansion of economic activity while lower readings indicate a contraction.
