The US economy is back on track. This is confirmed by the data released by the US Department of Commerce, which revised upwards the GDP estimate for the third quarter, up 5% against the +3,9% previously recorded. The figure beat analysts' expectations and represents the largest increase in US gross domestic product since the third quarter of 2003.

Meanwhile, after the jump in US GDP, the euro falls below 1,22 dollars (1,2188), the lowest since August 2012.
