Usa, Obama beats Romney 303 to 206: to the Democrat almost all the "swing States"

In addition to the traditionally democratic states, the president has achieved an impressive series of victories in the states in the balance: the affirmations in Ohio and Florida were decisive, but perhaps even more surprising those in Virginia, Nevada, Iowa, Colorado and Wisconsin – Romney does not president not even Michigan, the birthplace of the Republican candidate.

Usa, Obama beats Romney 303 to 206: to the Democrat almost all the "swing States"

In terms of numbers, the second victory of Barack Obama in the US presidential elections it was clearer than expected. According to the latest projections from CNN, the Democratic leader won 303 voters, against 206 for the Republican challenger, Mitt Romney

In addition to the traditionally democratic states, the president has an impressive winning streak in the so-called “swing states”, where the situation was more precarious. The affirmations are decisive Ohio e Florida, but perhaps even more surprising were those in Virginia (where four years ago Obama was the first Democrat to prevail since 1964), Nevada, Iowa, Colorado e Wisconsin

The only “swing state” Romney managed to grab was the North Carolina. But that's not enough. Obama also conquered the Pennsylvania (where Romney had been several times in recent days) and the Michigan, traditionally a Democrat, but the birthplace of the Republican candidate.

Furthermore, contrary to many predictions, voter turnout reached very high levels, with millions upon millions of Americans lining up to place their ballot in the ballot box. In Florida, Virginia and Ohio, the turnout may have exceeded the already historic 2008.

Many polling stations have had problems with shortages of ballots and have been forced to suspend voting operations while waiting for supplies, with hundreds of people waiting in line in the cold and dark. In some counties, voters waited up to five hours to exercise their right to vote.
