The eurosceptic leader of UKIP and the Leave movement that led to Brexit, Nigel Farage, met the US president-elect, Donald Trump. Farage, who is the first foreign political leader to be received by the newly elected president, entered Trump Tower and was shown up to the tycoon's private residence.
The meeting was confirmed by the tycoon's staff: "They talked about freedom, victory and what this means for the world." The meeting was described by Donald Trump as "very productive". The United Kingdom appears to be at the top of the new president's thoughts, given that the first authority he will visit abroad is British Prime Minister Theresa May.
