US retail sales are on the rise. In July, they rose by 0,5%, recording an overall result in the order of 390 billion dollars. The trend is in line with analysts' estimates. The forecast of a growth of half a percentage point turned out to correspond perfectly to the figure recorded. On an annual basis, measurements taken by the Department of Commerce show an increase of 8,3%. The trend is also confirmed on the "core" figure, i.e. the former automotive sector, which grows by 0,5% (for a trend of 8,2%), with a performance that exceeds expectations firm at 0,2% .
