The US Labor Department announces a drop to 9,1% of unemployment in July. Compared to the forecast of stability formulated by analysts, who predicted a steady rate at 9,2%, the same as in June, the data seem to show a slight improvement.
In real terms, the number of employed people rose by 117 units, a result higher than the 85 expected. An upward revision also of the measures taken in June and May, respectively from 18 thousand to 46 thousand and from 25 thousand to 53 thousand new jobs.
