Usa, Hillary Clinton hospitalized for suspected thrombosis

Hillary Clinton has been hospitalized for a suspected thrombosis caused by the concussion she suffered two weeks ago. This was reported by a close adviser to the State Department, Philippe Reines.

"During tests done today, Ms. Clinton's doctors discovered that she had a blood clot following the concussion she suffered a few weeks ago," Reines said. The former first lady, current US secretary of state, was treated “with anti-coagulants – continued Reines – and was admitted to the Presbyterian hospital in New York to be able to control the administration of medicines over the next 48 hours. Doctors will continue to evaluate her health, along with any other issues related to the concussion. They will decide whether further action needs to be taken."

Hillary Clinton, 65, was struck more than three weeks ago by a gastrointestinal virus, which forced her to cancel visits to Morocco, Tunisia and the United Arab Emirates. Reines had then revealed that the head of US diplomacy (who will soon give way to John Kerry) had suffered a concussion after passing out due to severe dehydration. The doctors advised her to rest at least until mid-January.
