Usa, FBI reopens investigations into Clinton mail

The specter of Emailgate returns for Hillary Clinton: James Comey, the director of the FBI, let it be known in a letter to members of Congress that investigations will be reopened to check new emails from the then secretary of state with the aim of verifying if they contained classified material.

Comey specified that the FBI cannot yet say whether the emails "may be significant" or how long it will take to review them. The emails were discovered in an unrelated affair which prompted Comey to order "proper investigative steps."

Donald Trump broke the news of the reopening of the FBI investigation into Hillary Clinton's emails almost live at a rally in Manchester, New Hampshire, which was greeted by a standing ovation from the crowd of his supporters. "A corruption on a scale never seen before," commented the tycoon, arguing that the Democratic candidate wants to "bring her criminal scheme to the Oval Office." "I'm glad the FBI is righting all the horrible mistakes it made" in the Clinton email investigation.
