The number of new construction sites started up in the United States increased by 9,3% in November, reaching 685.000 units according to the latest data provided.
The performance is clearly better than the expectations of analysts who expected a rise of 0,3%. In addition, building permits increased by 5,7% in the month, also in this case well beyond expectations. On an annual basis, the increase in new construction sites was 24,3% in November. Also last month, construction sites for single-family houses grew by 2,3% while construction sites for condominiums grew by 25,3%.
