Employment is growing in the USA: 80 thousand more jobs in October. The figure is actually a double medal: analysts had expected a greater number of jobs created, 95 units, but a higher unemployment rate, at 9,1%. So it is possible that the number of inactive workers has increased, ie there are fewer unemployed not so much because they have found work but because they are no longer looking for it.
In detail, 104 jobs have increased in the private sector, while 24 have been lost in the public sector. Employment in the construction sector is also declining.
The September figure has been revised upwards: the jobs created were 158 and not 103.
