Usa, Trump's chief of staff arrested

The facts date back to last March 11, on the occasion of the Primary stage in Florida (where Trump also won, against the odds): during the rally in the town of Jupiter, a journalist had reported to the police that she had been grabbed and thrown to the ground by a staff man, later recognized as the Republican candidate's campaign manager.

Usa, Trump's chief of staff arrested

The aggressive and provocative attitude of Donald Trump and his staff begins to exceed the limits: today Corey Lewandowski, head of the electoral campaign of the candidate in the Republican primaries (in full swing for an unexpected victory), ended up in handcuffs, on charges of having attacked, according to ABC reports, Michelle Fields, reporter for Breitbart News Network.

The facts date back to last March 11, on the occasion of the Primary stage in Florida (where Trump also won, against the odds): during the rally in the town of Jupiter the journalist had reported to the police that she had been grabbed and thrown to the ground by a staff man when she approached Trump to ask him a question. Later it was Ben Terris, a journalist for the Washington Post, who recognized that man and identified him as the tycoon's right hand man.

“Lewandowski is innocent and is absolutely confident that he will be exonerated,” Trump's staff immediately commented. "Perhaps he will be able to demonstrate his extraneousness to the facts of which he is accused - writes the Washington Post - but the fact remains that he lied about what happened". In fact, Lewandowski in a tweet dated March 11 had even denied having ever seen Michelle Fields instead a video catches him: he was present in Jupiter, and some videos show him a few meters away from the journalist who was later attacked.
