UP AND DOWN – Bombassei against Marcegaglia on art. 18 and labor market reform

Emma Marcegaglia's critical line towards the reform of the labor market and the solution adopted by the Monti government on art. 18 was not liked by the vice president of Confindustria Alebrto Bombassei. “We have to ask ourselves – says the owner of Brembo – whether as Confindustria we have done everything possible to avoid such a negative outcome. Those who, from the corporate world, have continued to affirm that Article 18 is not a problem and that their companies have never had staff cutbacks, I believe they have a responsibility for having contributed to creating confusion and uncertainty”. Very harsh words, addressed to Marcegaglia but also to the new president of Confindustria Giorgio Squinzi, with whom you have long dueled over the succession at the helm of the industrial organization.
