The UnipolSai group, through its subsidiaries Atahotels and UnipolSai Investimenti Sgr (the latter on behalf of the Athens Real Estate Investment Fund), has acquired the hotel management activities of Una Spa and the related real estate portfolio.
Thus a new national leader in the Italian hotel sector was born, with 43 structures (both business and leisure), 5.500 rooms, an aggregate turnover of approximately 120 million euros.
The execution of the two operations, explains a note, took place after the green light obtained from the competent authorities and after the approval of the debt restructuring agreement of Una.
The acquisition of the business branch envisages a consideration of approximately 29 million euros subject to the usual price adjustment mechanisms, while the price for the acquisition of the real estate portfolio is equal to 259 million euros.
