Thanks to the joint work of Unioncamere and the Ministry of Economic Development, World pass was born, the network of branches for internationalisation, aimed at supporting companies intending to land on foreign markets.

Only 3,5% of Italian companies, equal to 212 units, also operate abroad in a more or less stable manner, while, according to Unioncamere estimates, over 70 would be those that have what it takes to cross national borders but they haven't decided to do it yet.

And the benefit that the national economy could derive from it is evident if these 70 companies were able to enter international markets. It is precisely for these companies, in particular, that thehe new network of World passes, Or the Internationalization desks, established in all the Chambers of Commerce, and presented today by the Minister of Economic Development Corrado Passera, by the president of Unioncamere, Ferruccio Dardanello and by the president of the ICE Agency, Riccardo Monti.

The counters represent the implementation of the input, which came from the control room set up by the Government and the recent regulatory measures, to implement a common strategy of all the subjects involved in the policies to support the internationalization of companies

Therefore, the Chambers of Commerce have the task, in synergy with the other competent institutions, of creating the primary point of contact on the territory, providing services for the establishment and growth of SMEs abroad, creating a service with homogeneous and common characteristics on all territories.

“World Pass – said the president of Unioncamere Ferruccio Dardanello – will be the gateway to the internationalization highways. And it will do so using a wealth of new tools shared with the Ice Agency, with which the chamber system has been collaborating for some time by promoting joint initiatives”.
