Unioncamere: 30 more companies in Italy in 2014

In 2014, the business system recorded a positive balance between openings and closures. He communicates it Unioncamere underlining that the balance sheet, just over 30 thousand units, is equal to a growth rate of 0,51% in the number of registered companies, more than double compared to the previous year (+0,21%).

According to Unioncamere, the result appears to be totally determined by the decision drop in terminations. In fact, 340.261 companies have closed their doors, 31.541 fewer than in the previous twelve months. The data is the best since 2010 and could indicate a possible trend reversal in the expectations of the entrepreneurs active today, who hypothesize the possibility of an effective relaunch of the activities during 2015.

The positive datum relating to the slowdown in the number of companies that have lowered their shutters in the last 12 months is counterbalanced by that concerning new openings. The note from Unioncamere states that in the twelve months that have just passed, in fact, there were 370.979 new initiatives, a result lower than that of the previous year in which 384.483 new registrations were registered.

Remaining on the subject of registrations, it is noted that there has been a boom in the geographical area 'South and the Islands'. In fact, of the 370 new businesses, over 125 come from the southern regions. The North-West follows with just over 95 new companies, the Center with 83 and closes the North-East with just over 66. Precisely in the North-East area it is necessary to point out the only negative balance between enrollments and terminations. Against 66360 openings there are 67345 closures.
