Sergio Mattarella received on Friday morning Ivan Lo Bello and Giuseppe Tripoli, president and general secretary of Unioncamere. Many topics were discussed at the Quirinale, above all the reform of the chambers of commerce with the new tasks entrusted to the chamber system and the economic situation with the first signs of recovery.

Lo Bello, on behalf of the Italian Chambers of Commerce, presented to the President of the Republic the salient points of the reform approved by the Government, including the contribution that the Chambers of commerce are called to give on the fronts of the digitization of businesses, the orientation of young people at work and alternation, the enhancement of cultural heritage and support to companies for internationalisation.

“I am very pleased to have been able to describe to the Head of State the path taken by the chamber system,” said Lo Bello. "We are
committed to implementing a reform that will make our institutions more modern and capable of responding to the support and innovation needs of businesses".

The Unioncamere summit also presented the new logo of Unioncamere and of the chamber system that will be to President Mattarella
introduced in the coming weeks.
