Despite the slowdown in international demand, exports still represent more than half of the turnover of district businesses. In 2012, 52% of revenues were earned abroad. And for 2013, 37,4% of companies belonging to district supply chains expect an increasing trend in exports. This is the data provided by the IV report on Italian districts, the result of the joint work of Unioncamere, the Federation of Italian districts, Intesa Sanpaolo, Banca d'Italia, Censis, Cna, Confartigianato, Confindustria, the Edison Foundation, the Symbola Foundation and Istat.
