For the National Recovery and Resilience Plan to be successful, cooperation and unity is essential connection between government and business. "The Chambers of Commerce are an essential pivot of this special link", underlined the President of Unioncamere, Andrea Prete, during the Assembly of the Presidents of the Chambers of Commerce, which was attended by the Minister of Economic Development, Giancarlo Giorgetti. 

Priest highlighted i five key themes on which the Chambers of Commerce can contribute to the country's economic growth: “simplification, digital transformation and innovation, sustainability, job market, entrepreneurship, internationalisation. According to the president, it is therefore necessary to complete the reform of the Chambers "in order to complete the process of reorganization which has given us back more modern and more efficient structures, which can make available the experience gained over the years in bringing the Government's measures up to to businesses".

For Priest,"administrative transition it is the first leg of the ongoing change process.” A reduction of even just 25% of administrative procedures, in fact, would lead to an increase in gross domestic product of 1,8% by 2026. 

Prete also announced the establishment, at Unioncamere, of a Standing Commission for Simplification, with the participation of the business confederations of the various sectors. The purpose of the new body is to start a discussion table to share concrete proposals for the simplification and reduction of bureaucratic obligations for companies, to be brought to the attention of public decision-makers. Among these, the one that the chamber system becomes the single point of access for companies to the Public Administration.
