Unioncamere to Draghi: "Push on digitization and sustainability"

Unioncamere underlines the importance of sustainability and digitization of businesses, two themes to which a large part of the Recovery Plan resources will be allocated. For this reason, the Chambers of Commerce "are carrying out and intend to continue to carry out an important action of assistance and support for Italian companies". Unioncamere has assured the former number one of the ECB "the support of the chamber system to Government policies, while emphasizing the need to push on digitization and sustainability. "Six companies out of ten are still in the early stages of the 4.0 economy - explained Prete - and in one case out of 3 they struggle to find workers with digital skills".

Unioncamere therefore proposed to Draghi the establishment of an instrument capable of listening to the needs and requirements of small businesses and of supporting and accompanying them in the search for competitiveness on the model of the American "Small Business Administration".

“Despite the highest number of small and medium enterprises in Europe – said Prete – in Italy a system of stable policies is missing addressed to them".
