UniCredit wins nine awards at the Euromoney Awards for Excellence

  • Best bank in Italy
  • Best investment bank in Italy
  • Best Bank for Transaction Services in Central and Eastern Europe
  • Best Wealth Management Bank in Central and Eastern Europe

UniCredit has been recognized as “Best Bank in Central and Eastern Europe” for the first time since 2020. This achievement builds on the bank's historically strong presence in the region, where it has won the award for "Best Bank for Transactional Services" in four of the last five years.

Euromoney commented the award to Unicredit as follows: “Over the last year, UniCredit's potential for organic growth in Central and Eastern Europe has become clearer. The bank registered a strong growth in the number of customers – especially in countries like the Romania , Serbia, where its market share can further grow – as well as greater effectiveness in cross-selling products such as insurance and asset management. UniCredit's successes owe much to the development of digital banking – with increased digitization of mortgages, consumer loans and current accounts in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, for example – and to its efforts to reduce the number of retail products, favoring greater efficiency and concentration”.
