Unicredit sells gross non-performing loans for 93 million

The purchaser is B2 Kapital – The credits were granted by the subsidiary Unicredit Bulbank (Bulgaria) to customers belonging to the corporate segment.

Unicredit has sold to B2 Kapital a portfolio of non-performing loans linked to transactions conducted with some companies by its Bulgarian subsidiary Unicredit Bulbank.

The portfolio relates exclusively to receivables deriving from loan agreements governed by Bulgarian law for an amount - gross of value adjustments - of approximately 93 million euro.

The sale of the portfolio is part of Unicredit's current strategy of selling non-core assets, aimed at strengthening the Group's credit profile.

The impact will be included in the Unicredit financial statements for the first quarter of 2017.
