The rating agency Standard & Poor's yesterday confirmed UniCredit SpA's ratings at 'BBB-' for the long term and at 'A3' for the short term. The outlook remains stable.
This was communicated by the Italian Bank in a note, specifying that the new rating by the US rating agency "is based on the review by S&P's in relation to government support and the Additional Loss Absorbing Capacity ("ALAC"), due to the expected implementation of the Directive European Union on Bank Recovery and Resolution (“BRRD”) from 1 January 2016”.
