Unicredit repays 2 million Tier 300 bonds in advance

The date to be marked in red on the calendar is 30 July, the day on which Unicredit will repay the €300 million “Fixed Rate Lower Tier II Subordinated Callable Notes” in full and in advance, maturing on 2 May 2023. The same bank communicates it led by Jean Pierre Mustier through a note.

Before proceeding with the refund, Unicredit informs that it has obtained the prior authorization of the competent authority.

“With reference – reads the press release – to the bond loan in question, UniCredit SpA, in accordance with the provisions of the Final Terms dated 29 January 2013, having obtained the prior authorization of the competent authority, will exercise the full repayment of the bond in advance on 30 July 2018”.

On the basis of what has also been specified, the advance repayment of the loan will take place at par and the interest will cease to accrue on the date of repayment.

Meanwhile in Piazza Affari, the Bank's share dropped by 1,2% to 14,65 euro against a sector performance of -0,7%.
