Unicredit, productivity bonus of 2.500 euros for employees: here are the payment options

Dopo un 2024 record for accounts, Unicredit decided to recognize a prize of 2.500 euros to all workers of the group in Italy, thanks to an agreement signed on Tuesday 11 February between Fabi, First Cisl, Fisac, Cgil, Uilca, Unisin and representatives of the bank.

The award, valid for the year 2024, marks a increase of more than 13% compared to the previous year, exceeding the profitability and productivity results of the Italian budget.

Unicredit Award: Options for Workers

The bonus agreement (Vap, added value per employee) confirms the approach linked to productivity and profitability, offering employees the possibility to choose between different ways of delivery: in mode welfare, monetary or in a formula mista. Those who choose welfare will receive the full premium of 2.500 euros, including the contribution for dental insurance of 88,70 euros, completely tax-free.

Those who opt for a mixed solution will be recognized with 1.000 euros in cash, with a reduced tax rate of 5%, while the remainder, equal to 811 euros, will be credited to the welfare account, with a payment that always includes the contribution for the dental insurance policy. The welfare part will be credited in April, while the cash amount will be paid in June.

The welfare package is also enriched with a new online medical consultation service, accessible to all workers in service and their families. In addition, it will be possible to purchase a voluntary share package through the welfare account, for an amount of 500 euros.

“This is an agreement reached thanks to the compactness of the trade union table at the end of a sometimes heated discussion – he underlined Sabrina breeze, First Cisl national secretary –. The discussion with Unicredit must now continue on other important issues: we want specific negotiation solutions for the increasingly felt needs of harmonizing life and work times, and greater concreteness on the issue of participation, developing the specific request introduced in the last renewal of the national contract, so as to achieve full protagonism of the group's workers. Putting people at the center of work – she concludes – is the priority for First Cisl”.
