Unicredit for the Abi Creative Culture Festival

The fifth edition of the Festival of Creative Culture dedicated to children and teenagers is scheduled from 16 to 22 April, promoted by ABI with the participation of Italian banks. Once again this year Unicredit is organizing art workshops in six Italian cities, from north to south: Turin, Milan, Verona, Bologna, Rome and Palermo.

WHAT A MASTERPIECE! European cultural heritage as a root of memory, identity, dialogue, cohesion, creativity, future is the theme of the 2018 edition and the common thread that will link all the initiatives organized by the banks operating in Italy.

This is the calendar of events:

  • from 16 to 20 April in Palermo, at Palazzo Branciforte

Thanks to the renewed collaboration between UniCredit and the Sicily Foundation, the Civita Association will propose a series of activities that are linked to the history of the Palazzo and to some of the important collections housed therein, an expression of the cultural heritage of our country. Three workshops organized: for primary school, "Like the travelers on the Grand Tour”; for lower secondary school, "A lion lives in the palace”; for secondary school, "Stories about vases”.   • Friday 20 April in Turin, at UniManagement

The Castello di Rivoli Museum of Contemporary Art Education Department will coordinate the project "Shining Monuments“. The workshop will be held from 10.00 to 13.00 or from 14.00 to 16.00.   • Saturday 21 April in Bologna, at Palazzo Magnani

The Association La Foglia e il Vento will organize, from 15:00 to 17:00, the workshop "A masterpiece cunning, Mrs. Fox!”. Booking is mandatory subject to availability, by writing to sponsoculturali@unicredit.eu (the booking will be confirmed by e-mail).

  • Saturday 21 April in Milan, at the Tree House of the UniCredit Tower A

Organized by the School of Travel Association, the workshop will be held "Stories with Art”: guided by specialized operators, the students will have the opportunity to write and illustrate a comic whose protagonists are the characters of the most representative masterpieces of the history of universal art. The workshop will be held from 10.30 to 12.30 or from 15.00 to 17.00.   • Saturday 21 April in Rome, at Palazzo de Carolis

SiripArte – art laboratories will organize the event “The Chamber of Wonders” which will be held from 11.00 to 13.00 or from 14.30 to 16.30. The aim is to introduce the students to the various languages ​​of art and its expressive methods. Operators will create four separate environments, each featuring one of nature's elements: fire, earth, water and air. In each section, creativity will be encouraged by stimulating the senses to understand the richness and beauty of the surrounding artwork.   • Sunday 22 April in Verona, at the UniCredit headquarters in Viale dell'Agricoltura
