Unicredit, partnership with technical institutes for student employment

Unicredit and the ITS Foundations Network Association have signed a national agreement with the aim of promoting the integration of students into the world of work. The Association includes schools, universities, companies and representative bodies that provide post-diploma technical specialization courses.

The Higher Technical Institutes represent the first Italian experience of tertiary and professional training offer. The ITS were born in 2010 and today there are 101 throughout the country and are related to 6 technological areas considered "strategic" for the country's economic development and competitiveness, such as: sustainable mobility; energy efficiency; innovative technologies for cultural assets and activities – tourism; information and communication technologies; new technologies of life; new technologies for Made in Italy (mechanical system, fashion system, agro-food system, home system, business services).

The ITS are created according to the organizational model of the Participatory Foundation in collaboration with companies, universities/scientific and technological research centres, local authorities, the school and training system.

Access to the ITS, following a selection, is open to young people and adults with an upper secondary education diploma and those with a four-year vocational education and training diploma. The courses last two or three years and the internship is compulsory for 30% of the total hours. Internships can also be carried out abroad and at least 50% of teachers come from the world of work. The ITS allow you to acquire a Higher Technical Diploma and to facilitate circulation at national and European level, the title is accompanied by the EUROPASS diploma supplement.

Thanks to this agreement, UniCredit is willing to evaluate the possibility of offering exclusively to the ITS members of the ITS Italia Network a series of banking services such as: dedicated current account packages, loans (subject to creditworthiness) and undertakes to support the training activities of the ITS associated with the ITS Italia Network, through the possibility of participating in training events, organized throughout the country and dedicated to the training of entrepreneurs and companies, on vertical issues of national interest; meeting opportunities between students and local businesses; Local Open Days, days dedicated to businesses, during which the ITS associated with the ITS Italia Network are positioned as centers of excellence in post-diploma specialist training.

The ITS Italia Foundations Network Association undertakes to collaborate in the identification, definition and implementation of the activities for which the support of UniCredit is required and to promote the agreement with the associated ITS foundations present throughout the country and to share initiatives at a territorial level aimed at Smart Manufacturing, in support of the relaunch of national industry.
