Unicredit, new account for savers with returns of up to 7%

The current international economic and financial context, characterized by uncertainty and fragility, makes customers increasingly sensitive to the need to protect their savings. To respond to this growing need, UniCredit is today launching the new Conto Risparmio Sicuro product, an innovative deposit account designed to make even small savings from €5.000 and above pay off in a secure way. The sums deposited will in fact not be subject to market volatility, as they can be released without incurring losses on the capital, and will be guaranteed by the Interbank Deposit Guarantee Fund.

The new account, which can be subscribed in the formula with a 36-month or 60-month commitment, does not envisage any specific cost and gives the customer a certain and increasing quarterly return that reaches up to 7% gross, applied to only the fifth year of the bond. With these characteristics, Conto Risparmio Sicuro is aimed at all savers who, in a very uncertain market context, are looking for a fixed return over the medium term. The product is available to both new and existing UniCredit customers. The new account, available at all UniCredit branches, can be subscribed from 18 May to 15 June – unless it is closed early due to the limit being exhausted – and it is sufficient to open a current account, if you don't already have one.
