Unicredit: 1,5 million minibond issued by LMM Logistics

UniCredit has signed a minibonds of 1,5 million euro issued by LMM Logistics of Turin, logistics operator specializing in services for the food, retail and large-scale distribution sectors. The loan, which benefits from the guarantee of the Central Fund and has a duration of 5 years, is aimed at supporting the growth and development strategies of the Turin company.

The LMM Logistics company, born 6 years ago, works by offering logistics services for the food sector to large-scale retail trade in the centre-north of our country. LMM's activity - reads a note - is developed through three SBUs which deal with the management of the logistics hubs and their interaction with the product preparation centres, shelf replenishment and supermarket remodeling services and management of e-commerce platforms, through the preparation and home delivery of expenses purchased online by consumers. With its 14 million euro revenues in 2020 and an absolute growth rate of +2.404%, the company has climbed the ranking of the 269 Italian companies present in the Financial Times FT1000 2021, positioning itself in 33rd place in the absolute ranking of the 1000 fastest growing companies in Europe.

“The instrument of the minibond – he declared Paola Garibotti, North West regional manager of UniCredit – is very important to us, as it allows us to support Italian SMEs in their growth projects. In this phase of the country's restart, we want to use all the tools in our possession to give concrete support to entrepreneurs and this type of fund adds to our traditional activity of supporting the real economy. In Piedmont we have recently reached the milestone of 100 companies supported with minibonds, confirming our leadership in Italy in the process of opening SMEs to the capital market".

Maximilian Spinello, President and Chief Executive Officer of LMM, underlined how this placement “represents an important step for our company, because it allows us to finance growth through an innovative instrument open to the markets. Our Company is experiencing a phase of strong expansion and thanks to this operation, which we have completed with the support of UniCredit, we are on the way to consolidating our geographical and technological development strategy.”

For the operation, LMM Logistics was assisted by Luca Asvisio, Equity Partner of the Dondona studio of Turin and by the Notary Francesca Morotti Astore of Turin.
