Unicredit, the new Advisory Board Italy takes office

The new took office today UniCredit Advisory Board Italy. The Bank's advisory body will provide the General Manager and Top Management with consultancy support in guiding activities in Italy, in relation to the country's territorial and sectoral specificities, as well as social issues. The Advisory Board Italy will also contribute to the definition of the strategic directions of the Italian business.

The new UniCredit Advisory Board Italy is composed of 15 external members, characterized by strong territorial representation and expertise and leadership in the Italian economic context. In particular, the new body is made up of eight members chosen on the basis of criteria of authority and knowledge of the banking and financial sector or of the business sectors of interest to UniCredit. The new members are: Daniela Baglieri, President and Member of the Board of Directors of SAC (Catania Airport Company) Spa; Giuseppe Bonomi, Arexpo CEO; Mario Calderini, Full Professor School of Management Polytechnic of Milan; Enrico Giovannini, Full Professor of Economic Statistics at Tor Vergata University and ASviS spokesman (Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development); Alessandro Laterza, Chief Executive Officer of Giuseppe Laterza & Figli Spa; Giampaolo Letta, Vice President and CEO of Medusa Film; Antonella Mansi, Entrepreneur and Vice President for the Organization of the Presidency Council of Confindustria; Cristiano Seganfreddo, Innovator and Creative Entrepreneur.

Also members are the seven Presidents of each Territorial Council of UniCredit (ADBT): Vincenzo Ilotte, President of ADBT Nord Ovest (Entrepreneur and President of the Turin Chamber of Commerce); Costantino Vaia, President of ADBT Lombardia (General Manager of the Casalasco tomato consortium); Stefano Micelli, President of ADBT Nord Est (Associate Professor of Economics and Business Management at Cà Foscari University of Venice); Luigi Gilli, President of ADBT Centro Nord (Sole Administrator of Efisio srl); Lavinia Biagiotti, President ADBT Centro (President Biagiotti Group); Pasquale Carrano, President of ADBT Sud (President and Managing Director of the SmartP@per Spa Company, President of Smartest srl); Carmelo Papa, President ADBT Sicilia (Executive Vice President and General Manager Industrial and Power Group STMicroelectronics).

Finally, the UniCredit Advisory Board Italy is chaired by the General Manager of UniCredit Gianni Franco Papa and is completed by the following internal members of the Bank: Giovanni Ronca and Andrea Casini, Co-Heads Italy, as Vice Presidents; Maurizio Beretta, head of Institutional Affairs & Sustainability.
