During the annual awards ceremony of the European banking sector "European Banking Awards" held yesterday evening in Warsaw in collaboration with the Warsaw Stock Exchange, Emea Finance Magazine awarded Unicredit Group
with 8 awards: best Bank in Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary and Slovenia; best investment bank in Italy e
Croatia; best foreign investment bank in Poland and most innovative bank in CEE and CIS for Croatia.
Tim Burke, editor of the magazine, says the awards are recognition of the group's expertise in successfully completing deals and the leadership role of its subsidiaries across the region: “UniCredit's subsidiaries in Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary and Slovenia are committed to ensuring their customers can interact with them in new ways and benefit more from these new channels,” said Tim Burke. “In Italy, Poland and Croatia, during 2013 the bank successfully completed high-profile transactions on the capital markets, both debt and equity”.
