Unicredit, De Falco new head of CIB Italy

New appointments at Unicredit: Alfredo Maria De Falco is the new manager for Italy of the Corporate & Investment Banking area. Nicola D'Anselmo will be the deputy manager, starting from 1 March 2018.

De Falco will report to Gianfranco Bisagni and Olivier Khayat, Global co-Heads Corporate Investment Banking (CIB). Vittorio Ogliengo, current head of CIB Italy, will leave the Group at the end of February 2018.

“Considering their long experience and in-depth knowledge of the Italian market – said Bisagni and Khayat – Alfredo and Nicola represent the best choice, which demonstrates the quality of the managerial team within the Group. Their new assignment will further strengthen ours
undisputed leadership in one of our main markets. Alfredo and Nicola will be able to take advantage of the strong and consolidated Corporate & Investment Banking team we have in Italy. We thank Vittorio for having contributed to our success in recent years.”

Alfredo Maria De Falco joined Unicredit in 2003, responsible since 2016 for the American activities of CIB. Previously, he held the position of head of CIB Italy Network.

Nicola D'Anselmo instead has been part of the group since 2012, and worked as a senior banker dedicated to the management of CIB customers in Italy.
