From today the new General Management of UniCredit S.pA is in Piazza Gae Aulenti, 3 – Tower A -20154 Milan. UniCredit Tower is a complex of three buildings located in the new Porta Nuova area – among which the tallest tower in Italy stands out with its 231 meters of height. The skyscraper was designed by the Argentine architect Cesar Pelli and built by Hines Italiasgr. The transfer of approximately 4.000 employees will be completed by mid-October, which will allow the number of offices in Milan to be reduced from 26 to 5 (-55 m25 used) and annual savings on real estate costs of approximately XNUMX million euros when fully operational.

UniCredit Tower is among the ten most beautiful skyscrapers in the world. The ranking, which was drawn up by the German company Emporis building data company, rewards both the aesthetic components and the functional design of the selected building projects. Among the reasons for the nomination are the ultra-modern materials used to make the complex eco-sustainable and the spiral tower (Spire). Furthermore, the new general management was a finalist at the Mipim Awards 2013, in the Best Office and Business Development category, the only Italian project to participate. UniCredit Tower is part of the European project "Piani Città" and consists of the reorganization of all the main European offices of the Group (Milan, Rome, Munich, Vienna, Warsaw, Hamburg, Bucharest, Prague, Moscow, Zagreb, Bologna, Turin and Verona) , and involves 25.000 colleagues.

Also in Milan, will remain:
– the historic headquarters in Piazza Cordusio as a business area;
– Via Livio Cambi, Headquarters of UniCredit Business Integrated Solutions;
– Cologno Monzese, Training center;
– Piazza Durante, Headquarters of Fineco.

We also remind you that the three towers received the LEED Gold certification from the US Green Building Council – an organization that promotes and guarantees a global approach to sustainability in over 100 countries around the world – thanks to:
– 22,5% energy savings
– 37,3% reduction in the use of potable water in buildings
– 100% reuse of rainwater
– 93% recycling of construction site waste
– 20,5% of recycled material used in construction
– 41% of building materials of local origin
