Unicredit completes sale of Polish companies

In line with what was communicated to the market on 1 June 2017, UniCredit completed the sale of the equity investments in Pioneer Pekao Investment Management SA and in Dom Inwestycyjny Xelion SP. ZOO at Bank Pekao.

The completion of transactions generates a positive impact of around 105 million on the consolidated income statement of UniCredit and by almost 3 basis points on the Group CET1 ratio. The two transactions announced yesterday, together with the sale of the stake in Pekao Pioneer PTE SA in October, complete the process of divestment of the asset management activities in Poland, announced as part of the Transform 2019 plan.
