UniCredit launches, in collaboration with Visa Europe, MyPay, the debit card dedicated to individuals combined with VPay, Visa's pan-European debit platform that allows withdrawals and payments throughout Europe with complete peace of mind. MyPay, reads a note, is one of the safest products on the market, thanks to chip and pin technology for transactions, and one of the most innovative because it features contactless technology and is designed for payments via smartphone.
MyPay is offered to consumers with new functionalities and technical characteristics compared to the traditional debit cards currently present on the Italian market, starting with the customization levels provided for the cardholders, which can also be managed online through the multi-channel banking service. In fact, the customer can choose to customize MyPay with two optional features: "Travel" which allows access to withdrawals all over the world and extends the guarantees in the insurance field for the benefit of the holder and his/her family when travelling; “Shopping Plus” which allows the MyPay holder to also make purchases on the Internet and to benefit from insurance coverage up to 100% of the value of the goods purchased and an extension of the guarantee to 3 years.
