Unicredit in first place in cash management

UniCredit ranked first in 11 countries in the 2017 edition of Euromoney's cash management survey. The bank demonstrated its supremacy and market leadership in Western and Central Eastern Europe, ranking first in Austria, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Italy, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia and Turkey. Euromoney's cash management analysis is carried out worldwide on the main suppliers of products and services for cash management and is now in its 16th edition. This year, the opinions of over 25.000 companies and 2.500 financial institutions were collected, making it the largest and most authoritative ranking in the cash management sector.

“We are delighted and proud of the results of this year's survey” declared Gianfranco Bisagni, co-head of Corporate & Investment Banking at UniCredit. “Cash management is a fundamental service for our customers and this recognition demonstrates the excellence of our wide range of products, designed for companies of all sizes, from SMEs to multinationals. Being recognized by this study – based on their judgments – is a very positive sign for us and a confirmation that our efforts are heading in the right direction”. The 2017 results – increasing the number of first places from 5 to 11 – represent for UniCredit a considerable leap forward compared to the previous year.
