Another titanic fight in the Middle Earth of 'Lord of the Rings' in New Zealand

La Peter Jackson's successful trilogy, which brought Tolkien's great saga, "The Lord of the Rings" to the screens, was shot entirely in the enchanted and pristine landscapes of New Zealand. But perhaps they won't be so pristine now that plans are being discussed to build the world's longest monorail railway through 'land of the fjords' (Fiordland) in the South Island. ' (World Heritage Area), attributed by Unesco. The rail is expected to pass through Snowden Forest, crossing clear glacier-fed rivers and lakes.
The proposal has met fierce opposition from environmentalists and the government has yet to approve it. The proposal requires tourists to travel by catamaran and off-road vehicle before boarding the train which would travel 47 kilometres, all in about three hours.

Peter Jackson has added his voice to anti-monorail protests. And maybe he thinks of another trilogy. The one he put in the pipeline for the post-"Avatar". The successful film, which to date is the one that has earned the most in the history of cinema, foresees three more 'sequels', staggered between the end of 2016 and the end of 2018, all three shot in New Zealand, after the government increased from 15 20% subsidy for production costs.
