The barrel room becomes a work of art. It happens in Riparbella, in the province of Pisa, in the middle of the Tuscan coast where wine gives precious fruits and seduces artists. In the cellar of the Podere The rulein fact, the barrique cellar is entirely frescoed by the artist Stefano Tonelli and is inspired by the "dream of wine" and its "gestation". In the background, the Planet is that of our Humanity and is almost full of motionless faces with eyes closed, silent, to feel the creative vibrations. The barriques 'sleep' under a starry vault made up of dancing figures who navigate in boundless spaces and monads in the form of fish. In the barriques here is the wine that Luca and Flavio Nuti have been producing since 1990 on the land owned by the family since the beginning of the last century. Twenty hectares of vineyards out of 150 where organic farming is done and an eco-sustainable cellar, designed by the architect Sergio Scienza, powered by clean energy, in places where nature has not been contaminated since Etruscan times and expresses a constant balance between man and environment. Podere La Regola is located in the territory of Belora necropolis where the Etruscans left wine amphorae in the grave goods of the tombs and celebrates their ability as winemakers. In these parts not only art and archeology. La Regola, a toponym present in the land registry documents of Florence since 1700, produces Sangioveese and Vermentino, typical Tuscan vines to which are added the French vines, well suited to the particular microclimate of the Coast, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Gros Manseng, Petit Verdot, Viognier and white grape varieties of Viognier Chardonnay and Sauvignon: The total production is 100 bottles a year, 80% of which are sold in Italy and the remainder between the USA, Canada and Japan.

To open the way of tastings is lo sparkling wine Brut vintage classic method by Manseng, the first sparkling wine in Italy made with this blend (12,5% ​​alcohol, 20 euros, 8 bottles a year).

Il Cru La Rule, 100% Cabernet Franc (14,5% alcohol content, about 4-5 thousand bottles a year of production, 47 Euros in the cellar) is our favorite wine – however observes Flavio Nuti, a lawyer by profession and winemaker for passion, remembering that his wine finds those who compare it to Sassicaia, an illustrious "neighbor".

Among the other labels Strido, 100% Merlot and Beloro, 100% Sangiovese and Lauro, a blend of Viognier and Chardonnay (13,5% alcohol) go well with the Italian cuisine that the Nutis celebrate with their book "La Regola degli Chefs” with recipes and combinations of Podere wines.
