One year of Lega-M5S government: 12 decrees, 8 trusts

What was the parliamentary activity in this part of the legislature? Between the year that has just ended and these first ten days of the month, 28 laws have been approved - but almost half are for the conversion of decrees (12) - and the government has already been busy asking the question of trust 8 times .

The executive addressed the parliamentarians soliciting their confidence in 5 laws: on Legislative Decree 91/2018 (extension of terms) once in the Chamber alone; on Legislative Decree 113/2018 (security) trust was placed twice, both in the Senate and in the Chamber; on Legislative Decree 118/2018 (tax decree) once to the Chamber only; ditto on the anti-corruption law (still awaiting promulgation); finally, trust was placed on the budget law three times: in the Chamber of Deputies in the first reading, in the Senate and in the Chamber in the second reading.

As for the laws approved, only 6 are of parliamentary initiative: 1) for the establishment of the parliamentary commission of inquiry into waste; 2) establishment of the Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry into the Mafia; 3) rules on devices against the abandonment of minors in vehicles); 4) extension of the term for the exercise of the delegation regarding judgments before the Court of Auditors. And just a few days ago two more laws were added, authorizing the ratification of international treaties: 5) Italy-Laos treaty for cultural, scientific and technological cooperation; 6) Italy-Montenegro cultural cooperation treaty.

The decrees must also be added to the production, a total of 16, of which 4 inherited from the previous Gentiloni government, but the other 12 on the initiative of this executive, on average more than one a month.
