La Greece has three days to go to approve in Parliament by 15 July the main reforms envisaged by the Tsipras plan (VAT and pensions) and only then will he be able to restart negotiations with Brussels for aid of up to 70 billion euros. It is the ultimatum to Athens with which today's Eurogroup ended.
Ma the final word belongs to the Eurosummit of the 18 countries of the Eurozone which opened in a contrasting way. Merkel has said she does not want an agreement at all costs, but Hollande and Renzi have insisted on reaching an immediate aid release agreement, as also requested by the Greek premier Tsipras.
The whole world anxiously awaits the conclusions of the European summit on which the reopening of Greek banks from tomorrow will depend, but above all Greece's permanence in the euro and the very future of Europe.
