There were two themes at the centre of the Roman meeting between the Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and the new British Prime Minister Keir Starmer: the fight against iillegal immigration and help toUkraine. On the first point everyone agreed to strengthen cooperation to close the routes to smuggling. But it was on the second point that the Labour Prime Minister showed himself to be the most courageous of the Western government men by openly declaring himself in favour of the supply of long range weapons to Ukraine to strike the Russian bases from which insidious missiles and drones are launched against Kiev. On this point Meloni, while confirming Italian support for Zelensky, did not follow the English line. But if the weapons that Kiev needs like bread to neutralize the aggressive Russian bases are not granted, support for Ukraine will lose many arrows in its quiver. In his editorial last Sunday, the director of “the Republic", Maurice Molinari he recalled that the Russia uses Iranian, North Korean and Chinese weapons and technologies. But if Russia allows all this, why should Europe and the West stand by and watch and not counter the offensive at the root? Putin putting Ukraine in a position to go and hunt it down wherever it comes from? Starmer has taught everyone a lesson and has shown that true solidarity with Kiev is also made of weapons and not just words.
Ukraine, the courage of the Labour Starmer to say yes to long-range weapons in Kiev to defend itself from Putin
Solidarity with Ukraine cannot be made only of nice words but also of long-range weapons to hit Russian bases: the new English Prime Minister has also shown Meloni that he has the courage to side with Zelensky to the end
The courage of Labour's Starmer to give Putin a pretext to consider Russia attacked by NATO. In other words, the courage to officially start the third world war. Starmer obviously cares a lot about the outbreak of war, but I don't understand why.
A salute.
