Official: 48% of Milan goes to Mister Bee. Half a billion deal

At 18.42 Fininvest formalizes the agreement with a note: "The agreement signed by the managing director of Fininvest Pasquale Cannatelli and Mr. Bee Taechaubol has been approved by Silvio Berlusconi" for the sale of 48% of Milan to the Asian consortium for about 500 million – Berlusconi remains president for now.

Milan experienced a historic day: after the first thrust during the night, in the afternoon Mr Bee and Silvio Berlusconi found a basis for defining the agreement for the sale of Milan. The Thai financier took 48% of the club's shares, paying 500 million euros.

At 18.42 Fininvest officialises the agreement with a note: “Silvio Berlusconi has approved the agreement signed by Fininvest's managing director Pasquale Cannatelli and Mr. Bee Taechaubol, which plans to deal exclusively for a period of eight weeks a collaboration relationship relating to AC Milan”. The hypothetical agreement “provides that the control of the club remains in the hands of president Silvio Berlusconi and Fininvest, which will hold an absolute majority stake of 52%. The consortium represented by Mr Taechaubol has a minority stake of 48%”. Berlusconi and Taechaubol "will work together to build a large and ambitious economic and sporting project to bring Milan back to the highest levels of Italian and international football that compete with it in terms of history, prestige and results".
